TD&T Financial Group, P.C. announces promotions and advancements
Several promotions and advancements were announced at the annual firm luncheon of TD&T Financial Group, P.C., in September.
Jaime Ackles, of the Mt. Pleasant TD&T office and Megan Nelson, Ottumwa office, have now each passed the exams on the way to become a fully licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The licensure is granted by the Iowa Accountancy Examining Board following the successful fulfillment of several strict requirements, such as education, successfully passing the Iowa Accountancy Uniform Certified Public Accountants Examination as well as an Ethics examination, and one year of qualifying work experience in the field. Ackles and Nelson will join 23 other licensed CPAs in the firm.
Nancy Whitaker-Kropp recently joined TD&T as a Senior Manager in the Burlington office. Nancy specializes in audits of construction companies, not-for-profit entities, and healthcare institutions, in addition to working in many other industries. She received a B.B.S. in accounting from Western Illinois University and spent approximately 10 years working in private industry and 7 ½ years in public accounting prior to joining our firm.
Promoted to manager at TD&T's Oskaloosa office was Courtney DeRonde, Courtney has been with the firm since May 2004. Justin Plate was promoted to manager at TD&T's Pella office; Justin joined the firm in September 1999. Ted Wiegand was promoted to Senior Staff Accountant at the Mt. Pleasant office; Ted joined the firm in June 2005. Also promoted to senior staff accountant, was Krista Huffman. She is employed in the Ottumwa office of TD&T Financial Group; Krista joined the firm in October 1998.
The Corydon satellite location of our Centerville office will be moving from 213 W. State St. to 107 W. Jackson St maintaining office hours and professional staff. The move will be complete in early November.
