If you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with the goal of obtaining your CPA designation upon full-time hire, keep reading. If you also have strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and possess the skills to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines, then you’re our kind of people.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in both audit and tax / advisory disciplines to determine which area is of greatest interest to you. You will be assigned actual client work and have the opportunity to work closely with all levels including partners during your internship. For entry-level positions, you will join either our tax / advisory or audit team. As a member of our tax and advisory team, you will prepare corporation, partnership, fiduciary, and individual tax returns, assist with tax research and consulting projects, and regularly communicate with clients. In addition, you will work with clients to ensure they have accurate financial information throughout the year to ensure they can make good business decisions. As a member of our audit team, you will assist with audits, reviews, and compilations, prepare financial statements, and communicate regularly with client and firm associates.
