Administrative Coordinator

We have the following full‐time opportunity available in all 9 Iowa offices.

The qualified candidate supports operations by supervising firm administrative staff, implements administrative systems as directed by Operations Manager, and may also perform administrative assistant duties, depending on office location.

Essential Duties:  Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
  • Maintain Firm administrative staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Accomplishes firm administrative staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and assisting in disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, enforcing and communicating firm policies and procedures.
  • Develops firm administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and coaching.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests of firm administrative staff.
  • Provide firm-wide daily support for Practice CS and GoFileRoom programs
  • Assist in coordinating and planning of Shareholder and Strategic Management Team meetings and calls. Coordinate Managing Partner appointments with partners and other staff. Organize other meetings/calls as directed by the Managing Partner or CFO.
  • May be responsible for front desk duties including answering phones, greeting clients, sorting and distributing mail, setting up new clients, receiving payments, and making remote deposits.
  • Assist in the administration of the entire tax return process from receipt and organization of tax documents through delivery of tax returns to clients
  • Provide general support of office staff including front office duties, as needed
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement
  • Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

Supervisor Responsibility:
This position supervises Firm administrative staff.

To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.


  • High School diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Must have previous related experience, supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Word and Excel; knowledge of accounting/tax software

Experienced Tax Professional

We have the following full‐time opportunity available in all 9 Iowa offices.

The qualified candidate is responsible for a variety of technical tax and accounting duties based on experience level.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Previous related tax/accounting experience
  • CPA required for Manager position, preferred for others
  • Proficiency in use of computers and accounting/tax software programs, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
